Frontier Actually Did The Right Thing

So I recently got Frontier Fiber after they installed it in my area, and I went with the 2-gig plan. After reading a lot of posts in this sub, I was honestly pretty nervous about their support and reliability.

But my experience so far has actually been really good. The installer showed up on time,

Before you go pulling your hair out about why you're having unexplained connectivity issues, after a firmware update on your Eero system, that has seemingly worked fine forever...

I spent 6 hours over the last 2 days troubleshooting my Eero network, finally resolving the issue I was having.

**TLDR; Power cycle wired devices that don't normally get turned off. Even if they have a power button, turning them off just usually puts them in standby, You need to unplug the power co

Need to install ethernet ASAP, but I need a little guidance

Pictures included to help show where the run (I think) should go

Just moved into a new house and need to hardwire my office ASAP, since my current eero Pro 6E mesh setup (on Fidium Fiber) has too much ping for work Zoom calls. I'm a long-time lurker and know the very basics of home networking, but

Eero Pro 6e —> AP7 Experience

I recently migrated from Eero Pro 6e access points to AP7’s. I use a Firewalla Gold SE with two WAN connections (2G + 1G). My home is a 3-story, wood framed house and around 4800 sq/ft with HVAC equipment and tile flooring causing some impact on range and signal strength.

I just migrated from 4 E

2.4 Ghz Noise

Posting here to see if others have ideas on how to tackle this noise. I've been working with Eero support but can't seem to get to the bottom of the situation.

New Eero max 7 Pro installed in the same exact location as the pro 6e, the 6e showed nearly zero noise on the 2.4 Ghz channel. Even swappe

My portal drives me insane

I have had it for about a year and have tried everything under the sun to get it to work properly.

Every time I use it, it starts off well, then within the first ten minutes becomes fuzzy, and almost feels like I’m walking through mud in any game I play. I love it when it works, but it’s so unreli

Metronet(t-mobile) vs att fiber experiences here in Fishers

Another vote for Metronet. I pay $92.95 (includes all taxes and fees) for 2GB down, 1GB up. We use Eero Pro 6e mesh system. My wife and I both work from home full-time and have three teenagers with streaming devices. Never any issues with streaming degradation. The only service problem we’ve had was

Wired Backhaul Connectivity keeps switching to 'Wireless'

Good day, I have been battling an issue lately which I have seen others battling. Here's the situation. I have four Google Mesh Pro 6E points. The primary is connected directly to my AT&T gigabit router, and then sends wired internet to a Netgear 20port UNMANAGED gigabit switch. From this switch, it

Recommendation on box & subscription

If you’ve reached this point, avoid purchasing non-pro versions. Even the Eero 6e Pro is better than the Eero 7. Additionally, you don’t require a subscription unless you have a specific reason for needing it.

Remote Access - New Router

My Google WiFi’s finally died yesterday after about 6-7 years of service. Plex was working fine before they died. I went to Best Buy and got the Eero Pro 6E tri-band set. Hooked up the new equipment and now I don’t have remote access outside the network. Upon doing research I went into my Eero app a
