Slow speed on BE63 with Verizon Fios

The deco be63 has less spatial streams than the cr1000A router. I believe it’s 2x2 on all bands whereas the cr1000A is 4x4 on all bands. Depending on which device you’re testing from, I wouldn’t be surprised if the cr1000a gives more speed than the be63. I don’t think the cpu of the router has anyth

How often to reboot Deco

Why are Decos so disastrously bad? Their firmware quality is absolute garbage. Seriously. They can't support non-standard network configurations to save their own lives. Absolutely absurd. I'm currently fighting with our four node BE63, which seems to enjoy the hobby of causing our Kasa devices, whi

How often to reboot Deco

The main reasons I went with the BE63 were: - Great price for a basic mesh system. I didn't want to pay a lot with Wif8 routers and devices coming. - With storage and RAM prices as unfortunate as they are, my goal of creating a true NAS was put on hold. The TP-Links were one of the only options that

Deco BE65/BE63/BE11000 V2 Pre-release Firmware 1.3.3 Improves System Stability

When I bought my BE63’s, I thought I was getting new, current hardware. I had no idea that I was getting version one while TP-Link was already shipping version two. By the time I found out, nobody wanted to hear about replacing them with the current version. Since then I tell anyone who’s looking at

Ethernet between two condos

Have you investigated doing this via wireless? I share my internet with my neighbor using a mesh setup. Check out TP-Link BE63. It works flawlessly

Had a router question for all

I have two TP-Link BE63s with an Ethernet back haul between them in a mid-sized two level house. I've had zero issues at all with both remote play and streaming within the house and on my deck. I also have 2.5gb fiber for Internet but that wouldn't be an issue for you unless your Internet is really

TP-Link Deco 7 Pro

By 10Gbps are you referring to the overall system bandwidth, or the ports? The BE63 (aka BE10000) is the bottom of the Deco Pro options, but is overall 10000Gbps. I have this system...trying it out as my first mesh system. Not perfect, but works well. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what it's true b

Finally switched to TP-Link Deco

I did the same and moved to the same company (TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE63 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE10000). So happy with my internet/networking now without the weekly reboots I had automated with Google WiFi.
