Eero 7

I have 3 x Eero Pro 6e and 1 x Eero 6+. The router can manage 1400 Mbps on wifi to a compatible device, but drops to 300 Mbps if I'm at the far end of the Mesh. The Eero 6+ and Eero 7 are dual band routers 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. It's better if you can get the Pro model as they are Tri band and have a 6

Routers?

I’ve got a pair of eero pro 6e with Ebox 1Gbps. It works fine. Just as with any other mesh system, avoid wireless backhaul if possible.

BT halo pretty expensive but reliable is it worth a change now?

With a normal size house you should be able to get most of the speed you are paying for round it. Firstly move to Plusnet, it’s the same basic service as EE or BT at a fraction of the price. I’m currently paying £29 for 900Mbps. Second get a decent router or mesh. I bought a couple of Eero Pro 6e me

Mesh for Vodafone or booster

I just bought 2 second hand eero Pro 6e mesh routers from CeX for £72 apiece. I get almost my full speed (around 930Mbps) over wireless backhaul two floors from the main router. I have Plusnet FF900 and I couldn’t recommend these enough.

Mesh replacement for house

Newer Eero devices are going to provide better range and newer technology. If you're reliant on wifi connections between the APs, that's going to be limiting due to construction of the home. If you could wire them via Ethernet connections, that's optimal. Sounds like that's not easily done. I'd look

Extend Eero Pro 6E to garage

nice setup with the wired backhaul to the garage - that's the best way to do it. adding another eero pro 6e is actually straightforward. run your cat6 from the switch to the garage, then plug the new eero into that cable (using its WAN port). in the eero app, go to add device and it should detect th

Router that will easily support 3+ 4k streams plus game streaming?

The MR70 Mesh is a dual band Wifi6 mesh system. It, just like most dual band mesh systems are ass. I just ran 6 4k streams on my Eero Pro 6e system (though all my nodes are wired for backhaul) I had 5 wireless and 1 wired running. With no issues at all with 300Mbps Fiber. Invest in a good triband me

I have thick concrete walls and WiFi easily degrades between walls! Please help me find a way to get a good signal in all rooms (Wireless Only)

I bought a couple of Eero Pro 6e mesh routers second hand from CEX for under £150 and they have been brilliant getting pretty much full speed over wireless backhaul albeit in a regular house.

My brain is stupid and I don’t understand what I’m buying - Mesh Networking

I have a similar funky arrangement with 3100 sq ft tri-level and I had to go mesh (on a budget..lol) but my setup works fantastic now. For your 3400sqft split level with 2gig internet, you'll want a tri-band mesh system that can actually handle those speeds - most mesh systems will bottleneck you si

My brain is stupid and I don’t understand what I’m buying - Mesh Networking

ok so your brain isn't stupid, mesh marketing is just confusing on purpose lol. let me simplify it: you have 2 gig internet, no ethernet in the walls, and a 3400 sq ft L-shaped house. mesh is the right call for your situation since you can't run cables. no, it does NOT need ethernet behind the walls
