Orbi AC3000 will be End Of Service within 45 Days
Crazy. I'm surprised because your Netgear Orbi AX5700 (RBK842) was released around October 2019. I have a set of eero Pro 5 purchased in 2019 still running. Looks like they'll continue providing security updates for at least another 4 years through March 2030 (https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/artic

Is it just me, or does HomePod Mini + Airplay really sucks?
Buy eero Pro 6E used look on facebook marketplace for example. Ask the seller directly “is this a vanilla eero sourced from Amazon or is it a branded model from Frontier or some other ISP?” If it’s vanilla save your money buy it and use it. Eero is expandable and you will find many problems disappea

Grandpa Needs New Network
I picked up an eero Pro 6E on eBay on the cheap and set it up at my grandma’s house. It’s been running flawlessly for over a year with zero issues. It’s perfect for me because it just works without needing constant attention (I’m her IT support), and it’s perfect for her because she simply wants rel

Thoughts on TV + Internet?
I bought my own eeros. I bought a 3-pack of the 6E Pros. One on main floor, one upstairs where bedrooms are and one in the basement. I took the eero 6 given to me and use it in the backyard in my poolhouse. My wifi is strong everywhere, no dead spots or dropped wifi. I like the eeros. They are like

Done with TP-Link
I switched from TP cuz every time Internet went out, it would take hours of not a day to reconnect the tp mesh system back online. Switched to eero pro 6e. Never had a problem again been going a year and various outages and they always reconnect without issue. My devices easily jump from one router

AT&T Fiber and separate router - Worth it?
I’ve been using IP Passthrough for 6-7 years now, not a single issue, not a single outage in that entire time. I used Google WiFi router/mesh at first, then upgraded to Eero, and now I’m using Eero 6E. No issue with any of them. I have about 30 devices on the network. I have a Plex server on Freenas

WIFI 7 Hub VS ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 (2000 gbps)
1000mbps or 2000mbps won't change anything. You have a bit of a mismatch of Eero's, so they are not going to be able to talk efficiently to each other on the mesh. If that's an Eero 7 it's a dual band router with 2.4 and 5 Ghz channel, it can use 160mhz channels. The Eero Pro 6e is a tri band with 2

BT halo pretty expensive but reliable is it worth a change now?
With a normal size house you should be able to get most of the speed you are paying for round it. Firstly move to Plusnet, it’s the same basic service as EE or BT at a fraction of the price. I’m currently paying £29 for 900Mbps. Second get a decent router or mesh. I bought a couple of Eero Pro 6e me
