Sette 270

It did not chew through one on my Baratza Sette 270. It didn’t hurt the actually grinder but it broke the plastic housing from the torque

Sette uses plastic gearboxes, and I've seen a number of them damaged - including my own. Baratza's support was great at the time, though I've heard it's slipped since. As a peasant, I am content with my Baratza Sette 270 for the past 5 years…

The Sette 270 is an excellent piece of gear. I’ve loved mine since 2019 (and use it 2-4 times a day) and finally this April the gearbox gears had finally stripped. I sent Baratza customer support a video, they put me in touch with a real human, and they sent me a replacement gearbox for free. They s
