Sette 270

Baratza ESP Pro, Baratza Sette 270, DF54. Should really stretch the budget to get something better.

günstiger Siebträger, hochwertige Mühle ist der beste Einstieg. Also ne Delonghi Dedica oder ne Sage Bambino und dann ne Mühle für 250-300€ ist ein Richtwert. DF54 wenn verfügbar zu guten Preisen, Baratza Sette 270 etc.

I have a baratza sette 270. I wouldn't exactly recommend it - it is very noisy and the macro and micro settings have drifted since day one.

It did not chew through one on my Baratza Sette 270. It didn’t hurt the actually grinder but it broke the plastic housing from the torque

I just received this last night Build quality definitely looks sturdy, design wise yes it might cause a divisive opinion Several things that stand out is how quiet it is, I had Baratza Sette 270 and the noise difference is night and day

Nice! Check out the Baratza website I had the 30 and you can get the upgrade to dial in. Called: Adjustment Assembly for Sette 270 and Sette 270Wi. (I needed the shims too.)

I definitely like my Baratza Sette 270. I went ahead and got these small hopper. The grind path is totally straight through so retention is virtually non-existent.

Sette uses plastic gearboxes, and I've seen a number of them damaged - including my own. Baratza's support was great at the time, though I've heard it's slipped since. Specialita is pretty much all metal, and I'm yet to see really anything fail on them. Sette is easier to clean, but the Mignon line
