I think you will need an NVMe SSD to play PS5 games. There is a slot available in the PS that is really easy to plug in the SSD. You can get this as I recently got it and this is a reliable brand as well. WD SN7100 I got it for 5.3k in Amazon Sale using CC offer this year so if you can wait this is

Here's my thoughts: Would replace the SSD with for example WD SN7100, it's a little cheaper but perfectly fine. Upgrade the GPU to RX 9070 XT for $15, easily worth it. Much better performance! Get 6000 MT/s RAM instead of 6400 MT/s. Get a much cheaper motherboard, no need for X870. Instead look for

This would be my configuration for you; https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/Fyg2sp That is based off of a regular build I do for unRAID clients, with some minor massaging on parts to fit FR/EU market. The 12400 isn't gaining you much over a 14100. The 12400 gains you 2 cores and 4 threads, but at the c

It means a no-name NVMe. And you'll void your warranty by installing it. My choices: A good and affordable 40Gbps fanless enclosure: https://www.amazon.com/GEWOKLIY-Noiseless-Enclosure-Compatible-Thunderbolt4/dp/B0D9PWKJT3 A good, affordable and fast NVMe: https://www.amazon.com/WD_BLACK-SN7100-Inte

You're not optimizing your money for what you're going to be doing with the PC, which you said is gaming. Ax the 9950x3d for a 9800x3d. You're overpaying for GPU and not even getting one that should be included in the budget. This budget should include 5080 and even if not, the MSRP 5070 ti at $750

You dont need DRAM cache on NVME drives dor PC for regular OS and gaming stuff. The HMB is more than capable. Your answer is borderline much obsolete now. SSDSs like SN7100 are almost on par or better than even the SN850X with DRAM except for sustained writes.

The wd black sn850x is gen 4 by 4, don't go on Flipkart item descriptions, they aren't accurate at all,and if you think you are getting gen 5 on the crucial, it's not gonna be useful,as your laptop supports only gen 4 and gen 5 drives run hotter and consume more power, so go for the sn850x,or if you
