I had never opened up an electronic or done hardware modding and this was long, long overdue.
Got extremely fed up with my minimal space so I finally pulled the trigger and swapped my SSD. Was surprisingly easy and satisfying. No snapped SD cards here. The hardest part was honestly the fact that m

Hi everyone !
After days of planning, researching, and selecting parts, I'm excited to finally share my first home server—a project that had been on my mind for quite some time and has now become a reality. While the primary goal was to build a NAS, I didn’t want to go with a plug-and-play soluti

Bro DO NOT GET THAT SSD adata ssd are known to be unreliable, read and write speeds will drop drastically after 6 months or a year. Instead get crucial p310 1TB. Also i would suggest to get a wifi motherboard(make sure it is using an intel wifi chip for stability) for example - msi b760m bomber wifi

Very decent build given current market conditions. EDIT: sorry I got the brand confused. GalaPower is legit and reputable. 2x16GB 6000MHz CL28 is great. That kit goes for $700 alone these days; and basically sells the deal. The Crucial P310 is unfortunately QLC, but that's life, and for gaming and g

You don't need to reinstall anything. Just set up Windows normally, run Windows Update repeatedly for about two hours until there is nothing left, then update everything in MyAsus, followed by Armoury Crate. Use it like that for a few days and see how it feels. For Bazzite OS, you can use an externa

Oh, it's pretty easy really: I got a M.2 2230 SSD, which goes up to 2 TB in size currently. And then I also have a 1 TB MicroSD(Technically there's 1.5 TB now so I could squeeze out another 5 hundo but that'd be a hundred bucks for just 500GB and I'm not really thinking that's worth it. I'm kinda ju

Hello u/Kama_naka Hope you and your wife and doing well. With the recent RAM and NVME price increases I would say it's very hard to stay within a $600-$900 budget as the price of memory has tripled within the last few months. I would take a look at DDR4 if you can as that will allow you to find some
