SN7100

Luckily there are still a lot of options on the SSD market. I have found Samsung's products very unappealing in recent years. Even during the good days when prices were low, a 990 Pro was 15-25% more expensive than a WD Black SN850X and that tendency continued down the stack to the SN7100 vs 990 Evo

I wanted to build a compact gaming PC for some time. Finally built it last week and wanted to share my experience, since it might help others too.

I was a PC gamer 10 years back, bought a PS5 a few years ago, and even after 2 years, was not able to get used to the controller. Also, game prices are

get rx 9070 instead of 5060 ti for similar price, if you plan to game, get a better ssd like Corsair MP600 NH, WD sn5100, SN7100, for psu get deepcool pn750m, msi a750gl or cooler master mwe v2 750w gold

I see a lot of people recommending the 990 Pro for the Xbox Ally X, but before you go get the fastest and most expensive drive, think about power consumption. The stock Samsung MZ-VMA1T00 (PM9A1) already balances solid speed with power efficiency, usually drawing around 4.5W under load. The 990 Pro,

Damn I paid 325 for the SN850X back in Jan.

Desenvolvimento web mete grana nesses nvmes ignorantes como o 980pro ou wd black sn 780 sn850 sn7100, a velocidade de compilação de npm dispara....

The sn7100 is the best ssd currently available Although you can find cheaper deals in hardwareindia, although you won't get any warranty or rma support If you want,go ahead with the sn7100 And ignore the other guy's comment offering you for 5k He posts heavily used ssds as "lightly used" got called

It's slow, wasting I/O on HDD At 20mbps we're talking 2.5MB/sec. Any mechanical 3.5" from the last nearly 2 decades will do 150MB/sec. Even with the low IOPS of a single mechanical disk, unless you're also streaming another dozen 4K remux's off of the same disk it's a complete non-issue. and adds we

Hey r/framework community,

I'm hoping to get some insights or shared experiences on a persistent NVMe power consumption issue on my Framework Laptop 13 AMD (running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with mainline kernel 6.15.6). I've been trying to get my NVMe SSDs to enter a deep power-saving state (like D3cold),

Just wanted to come here and bump this as well - this fix worked for me as of 06/11/2025*. For years, SC had been working fine on my WD Blue NVMe (SN570); however, after upgrading to a new WD Black NVMe, in particular the WD Black SN7100 NVMe, I encountered the data.p4k error, in particular a data.p
