I’ll add on to this that Steam Deck uses power passthrough that bypasses the battery entirely. This means that you aren’t constantly wearing down the biggest fail point of these devices. If you are someone that charges to 80-100% and then unnecessarily unplugs it, you are essentially reducing the li

I doubt it because it would block your vent exhaust and power/vol buttons. And you also don’t want to risk damaging the USB-C port on steam deck - it’s soldered to the board and not easily replaced

As someone who developes decky plugins, it's a garbage platform for stability. No documentation, API calls are randomly depreciated in a release with no warning, and the decky store is completely a shit show with no actual concern for compatibility for steam versions. What’s your setup? I’ve been doing this and I constantly get micro stuttering on the steam deck side. Game is running locked on my PC side but constant drops from 60 to 48fps and 55. I’m using Apollo on PC and moonlight on SD all wired through Ethernet. The moonlight info isn’t showing any network s

Happens to my SD every day. Sadly, still no solution from Valve. The only thing that you can do is restart your SD.

These days, handheld gaming systems can mean a lot of things and can get very specific. Can be everything from a Nintendo Switch, to a PC handheld like the Steam Deck, to the handhelds you’re seeing that are emulator focused which come with their own caveats. As a parent, my honest suggestion is see
