The SteamDeck is pocketable.

The Steam Deck is a lot like baked lasagna; it can fit in your pocket but why would you

How often do you use your Steam Deck at home when you already have a gaming PC?

A lot, but I think the people that get the most use are husbands and dads. For example my wife likes to hang out upstairs and not feel so disconnected so we can talk still. Steam deck is great for this and progressing single player games.

At what price would you NOTbuy the Steam Machine?

I don't get the target audience, I can justify a steam deck because it's portable but unless it's cheaper than just buying a PC, why wouldn't I get a normal PC build for everything not just taylored for gaming

ADHD impulse buying: what is one purchase that you DO NOT regret?

The steam deck, I got super fixated on it and bought one very impulsively and I use it almost daily. It’s also made gaming accessible for me again!

Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 are now out on Steam.

I just saw this and picked up all 3. Feel like these would be perfect on the steam deck

I hope Valve does not change much on Steam Deck 2

if the hardware and development teams at Valve, which gave us the quality of the SD, finds design/ergonomic improvements to make in a SD2... I hope they don't get dissuaded from making those changes from random reddit posts.

I'm newly disabled and cant game anymore on PC

I’m in a similar situation where I can’t sit for too long. There are a couple of solutions you can try to use. As Steam said, Steam Remote Play or better yet, Moonlight Game Streaming. With Moonlight, you can stream your pc to any device and remote control your PC from anywhere in your house. I use

I can’t believe that animal crossing is on the vita now 🫪

It looks amazing on such a small screen. Even better on the OLED. I have a Steam Deck but there's just something I always miss about when handhelds were smaller.

How the hell does this game run?!

Yeah but it's not going to pocketable like the psp was. It's going to be massive like the Portal, steam deck, rog ally etc. The psp was amazing because you could truly just have it in your pocket all day every day and whip it out anytime you had the chance. As a kid you could have it in your pocket
