Steam Hardware - Steam Controller: It's almost here!
I’m gonna hold off until the Steam Machine releases so I can get them in a bundle. SD is my only device atm so I’m in no rush. But it looks great, the price isn’t good but I personally think it’s fairly expected given the state of things and the quality it seems to display. I can’t be considered a f

Szerintetek melyik jelenleg a legjobb kézi konzol?
A SteamOS bru

Can anyone convince me why I should keep my barely used Steam Deck over just getting the ROG Xbox Ally (X)?
Sell the Deck and get a Windows handheld. XAX is the best one when it comes to comfort. I too went through the same thing and hated Steam OS. Windows is just easier to use for tinkering.

SK has now hit over 1k concurrent players, the most since 2017
Yes but not great and you do need mouse for a lot of UI stuff. You can use steam input to remap your controller for better compatibility. Look at the community layouts. I played on my steam deck and it worked really well.

Steam Hardware - Steam Controller: It's almost here!
Hmm… PS6 would probs be more powerful and have those exclusives etc… but what I like about Valve and SD is the freedom to alter it as you wish and the PC of it all. At that point I might as well build my own PC. I’d only be getting it because it’s in the Valve ecosystem. The smarter choice would be

I get it. Loading up desktop mode to move files around after you find out where they are for every game, or trying every proton version for games that have hardware daily limits, adding everything you use via windows to launch through steam, and hope those programs don't need drivers that may not in

Best Steam games for the field
I've got a steam deck, so the comparison might be a little off. The remake of Red Dead redemption 1 runs very well on the deck. The remakes for the Kingdom Hearts games also run really well and serve well for a time sink.

Bought used Steam Deck – Are factory & CMOS resets enough without a PC reimage?
That should be good AFAIK. Alternatively I think you can fully reimage the Deck. Since you have a working Deck. Just download the SteamOS iso from Valve, flash it to a usb drive or micro sd card. Boot from that medium. Re image steamOS. Pro tip : use usb/dock so you can use a kbm and USB A thumb dri
