A windows user here, need to buy Mac mini for some apps testing, should i wait for mac mini m5? what's the probability of June Release?
You don’t need all that CPU power just for app testing. Just buy some Mac Mini. Upgrade with maximum RAM for fortune use, that’s more important than CPU speed. The M4 is already rocket fast! 🚀

These Macs Can't Run the Studio Display XDR at 120Hz
Of course it just so happens that M4 is omitted from both lists… which is the Mac I have (M4 Mac Mini)

Apple increases trade-in values for iPhone, iPad, more
The trade in value of a Mac mini is just weird. I have a Mac mini M4 pro which is worth less to trade in than my iPhone 16E.

Should I switch to a Mac mini?
Yes. No question about it. I was a Windows user for over three decades but switched to a Mac mini m4 and was blown away by the performance of Apple Silicone Silicon. It blows Intel/AMD chips out of the water, and I’m not even exaggerating. You can run Windows in a VM if you still need access to some

MacBook Neo is 499$ (US) for students and K-12
the m4 mac mini was $399 for a few months at microcenter, you had to buy it in-store but probably the best deal in computing ever

Apple Neo
500 with education discount is wild. 8 GB RAM is not ideal but K-12, college students, and pretty much everyone else with non specialized work should at least consider this as their first device. The fact that I can get this and the M4 Mac Mini for around the price of the new Air is amazing. Can’t r

We are Switching to Linux… For a Whole MONTH
Related story: his first Linux challenge is exactly why, when I bought a Steam Deck OLED (it's so fucking good wow), I told myself that was Linux enough for me, especially because [Fortune 250 company I work for] paid for my Windows laptop anyway on a lease-to-own. Around January last year, I bought

Entry level PCs costing less than $500 ‘will disappear by 2028’, research firm predicts
No they won't. The price floor will increase but the demand for cheap or good enough specs isn't going to wane, especially with modern cloud and internet heavy usage patterns. The vast majority of people spend significantly less than $1000 on laptops and few buy mid range to high end at full price.

This MacBook Neo has been upgraded to 1TB
I upgraded my two M4 Mac Mini's from the base 256 GB to 1 and 2 TB, it's a super simple upgrade. The only downside is that you need a second Mac with Apple Silicon chip to do the DFU restore and re-flash macOS.
