wth C300 mk III for 2999. automatically bought. crazy how quickly prices dropped.
Canon was much slower and did a lot less than Sony to jump into the "content creator" game. Had Canon provided an FX3 equivalent around the same time as Sony did they alot more people would have been shooting Canon for video now. The A7S3/FX3 did more to hook people into the Sony ecosystem than all

S1ii or S5iiX or keep a7Siii?
Opengate isn't a big deal for anyone until they have it, then it becomes something they can't go without. The S5iix is my bulletproof workhorse, I'll be plenty happy with it for years and years to come. My S1ii will be here Wednesday and it's going to be my new A-cam. 5.1K OG 60p is going to be a dr

is there any reason to buy A7SIII since we have Nikon ZR just released?
I can't quit that fx3/a7s3 2nd base ISO at 12800 plus the options on 3rd party lens. Sony ecosystem is still future proof.

Need reccomendations on purchase of Gear.
The fx3 is an awesome camera. Slog-3, base iso 12800, Full Frame, that’s all super helpful. I also agree 100% with the first commenter, everybody has this setup, but there’s a reason for it. Ofc you will get more unique images with vintage lenses, but also especially if you shoot weddings, autofocus

Any opinions on when/if Sony releases the a7sIV?
Camera rumors/leaks are very very very unreliable and untrustworthy. Unless the product is less than 2-3 weeks away from releasing, every rumor you'll hear will most likely be fake. My 2 cents, if we're going off history, this is one of the biggest gaps we've seen for a camera refresh from Sony so i

How to get 24fps slow motion to look smoother
Upgrade one camera. Do you really need all three to shoot slow motion? I don’t think you’re gonna find a “workaround” for getting 60fps to look good on the a7iii, its 1080p modes look pretty bad. Moving from an a7iii to an a7siii was an absolute night and day upgrade for me.

Should I shoot “a raw cinematic corporate documentary” with manual vintage lenses.
My bad dude, I saw him mention FDs and totally forgot that he was talking to you 😆 I'm with you on vintage glass taking a bit of the digital sharpening off. We're on G Masters at work, and I'm still shocked at times by how sharp that glass/cam combo is (a7siii). I personally like pulling down that s

Upgrading from A6700 – Can’t Decide
A used a7siii is a great option for you. It is cheaper than the other options you listed and it will be a clear step up in terms of versitility. I shot 100+ MLB/NHL/NBA games on mine and had success doing both photo and video. It shares the same sensor as the FX3 but also has the EVF in case you nee

Matching Sony A6700 and A7III footage in a two-camera shoot-anyone done this?
I shoot a dual cam setup of: a6500 + a7s iii. Sometimes aligning the footage is quick and looks near-perfect. Othertimes it takes a lot of tweaking and the pixels begin to break. Overall, it never matches, but I think your approach is as ideal as can be. Just don't expect miracles...and remember tha
