Sony to Nikon?
Hey Mate, I've been a NIkon shooter for a long time and currently use a D4; dual D850s, still have a D750 and just bought a Z6iii. Lemme tell you a story about that So I made a massive mistake with a former partner I was working with and moved from Nikon to Sony with dual A&r4s, 8 lenses and a sony

Sony admits A7S III firmware updates are breaking features
This is a crap excuse. It’s not that features are stripped. It’s the fact that Sony KNOWS that cameras are getting bricked and crippled. Yet, they are making customers pay for fried motherboards and arguing with them about how ITS NOT their fault. Don’t get me wrong i appreciate them still adding fe

FX30 or FX3 or something else?
An S1ii costs less than an FX3 and outperforms it. If I didn't have Sony glass I'd take that over an FX3 or FX30 any day (I'm still shooting Sony with over 1k paid gigs done on an a7siii/FX3 so not a Panasonic shill, just being objective)

So done with Camera YouTube
That’s unfortunate. I have 2 a7siii cams as well as a fx3 for weddings. I’ve shot hour long ceremonies in the heat and my a7siii cams have never overheated. I wonder if you just got a faulty cam. Do you have your heat shut off set at the highest temp? I know that’s frustrating to buy an unreliable c

Why Would You Buy an A7S III?
The FX3 has compromises, both compared with A7S III and compared with Sony’s professional cinema cameras. It’s not like choosing between a full cinema camera and a weak photo camera. They’re the most closely aligned cameras Sony makes, and software has hardly changed that. A7S III just got the custo

a7siii or FX3?
They updated the a7siii so its got most of the newer internal coding as fx3 all except the fake iso thingy that lets you make things bright or dark just will viewing. So really the a7siii looks more like a cameea and has more weather sealing. They both got the same shit . If you want to get an fx3 t

New A7s III firmware update 5.0
I’ve been burnt twice on A7S3 firmware updates with repair costs at my expense (!!), I’m never touching another firmware update again. It’s not even remotely my fault Sony decided to substitute parts AND write firmware that doesn’t work with all the parts THEY have shipped….

Shopping for a DSLR
I'm sure Burnie is aware of mirrorless cameras. I personally upgraded from a Canon 80D to Canon R6 II a few years ago. Canon hasn't released a DSLR in almost 6 years. I was pro DSLR up until Canon and Nikon got in the Mirrorless game pushed the competition. Nowadays, the budget mirrorless camera has

FX3 or R6V
Better low light. Better IBIS. Rock steady & proven workhorse. I use my A7SIII more than my FX3 (form factor just works better for what I do), but the magic is that sensor. I also own and use the C80 and R5C, so I’m familiar with Canon.

Bluetooth/WiFi malfunction after new update
The newer firmware versions can break wireless and audio features on a subset of Sony cameras. These issues have impacted the A7S III, FX3 and other Sony models. It seems that Sony changed key hardware components during production. The newer firmware versions don't fully support cameras with the alt
