Redeeming aspects you discovered from failed hardware

Ignore the number pad and it feels exactly like a standard 3 button Genesis pad. I have totally normal sized hands, it fits hands a billion times better than PS1 pad for example. The criticism of the controller could be it didn't add the button layout that was great for 2D (saturn pad) or 3D (Saturn

AMA: Last year I went all in on Sega and bought a Saturn, Genesis, and Dreamcast within a few short weeks of each other. As a PlayStation/SNES kid, these were my first SEGA consoles. Ask me anything! [please don’t upvote this post]

Which controller you picking? 🎮

It isn't just you, they swapped the design for the turbo one and it has slightly larger face buttons, a different D-Pad, and slightly different contours. I think it influenced the Sega Saturn controller a bit.

2 hour delay at the airport yet I couldn’t be happier….

I really tried to get into arcade sticks but was never as comfortable with them. I stick with my Sega saturn controller and a USB adapter.

Like others have said one of the pleasures I have by playing on my original console is also to use the original controllers as part of the enjoyment is the feel of the controller itself. Also in this case, it would mess my OCD as you still need to configure buttons etc. the only exception I would ma

How is the Genesis 6 Button Controller for Street Fighter? Thoughts?

One of my first consoles was a genesis, so as Im already used to the button layout, a nice upgrade for me was the sega saturn controller for pc. D Pad feels almost exactly the same (I can tell because I still play my genesis) You get one extra shoulder button which is really nice in sf6; and it also

Who here plays with an arcade stick?

I’ve been playing on stick since the early SF4 days. I preferred it since I played in my local arcade as a kid and playing on an Xbox 360 controller sucked back then. I do like using pads that are similar to a Sega Saturn controller but trying to switch to a pad nowadays is cumbersome as I need thos
