Odyssey G7

Before I upgraded to OLED monitors, I tried the Samsung Neo G7 (VA panel with mini-led backlight) and I had to return 5 straight units all with vertical lines or other issues Samsung QC is nothing It’s a shame because when Samsung panels work, they’re awesome

The g7 Odyssey is quite prone to failure, it has pretty bad QC

Yeah first monitor i bought was like this. VA, MSI 32". blacks left a massive trail behind them. Then i got an Odyssey G7 which is still VA in theory but pixel response time is literally perfect. Never had an issue again

Mini Led is about the APPRECIATION of a step after edge lighting. The scenic route if you will to micro-led and so forth where the panels will meet organic modes. Samsung odyssey g7 looks like the 32 inch. Not cheap but not top of the line in 2025. Mine is sitting on a shelf now. Amazing screen.

I had the OG Odyssey g7 32 and it gave me issues so think of it as a blessing in disguise lol. But my 2x G80SD 32 are pretty sweet
