I think I said it in your other post too, but if you get an S95F in there, it would blow any MiniLED out of the water. Heck, maybe even an S90F. You liked your QN90C better than an LG C series because OLED TVs below 55" behave a lot closer to monitors in terms of brightness than their larger variant

It's not about "trying to force" anything on HDR. It's about having a proper accurate SDR-to-HDR tonemap. SDR content shouldn't be messed up just because HDR is enabled in settings. Don’t expect decent dimming from anyone except Samsung and Apple on their miniLED/FALD monitors. 27 inch is perfect for me. I have bad eyes though. Running the original Samsung odyssey g7 1440p curved monitor. It’s a VA panel so doesn’t have the asscheeks IPS bleed. Its response time is high enough I don’t have issues playing comp.

Yep, the dimming algorithm is way more important than the number of zones itself. I have a Samsung Odyssey neo G7 and it works very well, and from what I heard the TCL algorithm is also quite good. Plus VA has the advantage of high native intrazone contrast which helps a lot with the blooming.
