Why is my monitor doing this?
Not all VA panels are equal, though. My recommendation is, always check for reviews (thorough ones that show response time measurements), and don't count out VA panels from the get go. For example I have a Lenovo Y34wz-30. And it does have some smearing on lower refresh rates, but at 165 Hz it's ver

Can modern MiniLED actually replace OLED for dark room gaming?
The local dimming algorithm is arguably more important than the zone count. Most external monitors, except the Apple Studio XDR, have such bad local dimming in SDR that it's better turned off there. And turning it off means it looks exactly like an edge-lit LCD. TVs usually have much better algorith

Need a 32-inch 4K+ monitor with high brightness, strong contrast, accurate colors, high refresh rate. Am I being unrealistic?
Not the high end Samsung Neo G7 and G8. I have a Neo G7 and a G80SD side by side and the difference between them, in any aspect, is not big at all. If I could keep only one it would be the Neo G7.

Looking for Top of the line, NON OLED monitor money can buy.
As long as it's centered as viewing angles are horrible, I can vouch for the Neo G7 32".- a 4k MiniLED VA. It's not like the cheap VAs that will black smear. There's also a 240hz Neo G8 but it has scanline issues, because this panel can't handle 240hz properly, and has some horrible greasy ultramatt

43 inch tv or a 32 inch curved monitor for sim rig
Yeah, I use a 55" LG OLED and I love it. Just keep in mind you need a pretty strong GPU to handle 4K at 120Hz. If your GPU can do that, I’d definitely go with the OLED. If it can’t, I’d still recommend going with a high-refresh-rate 43". Take a look at the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 43". also if you go

Best non-oled monitor?
I got the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 mini led and its phenomenal for me. I use it in my office for a mix of work and gaming. I do alot of XML and text editing, 3d modeling and simulation, ect... Text is clear and with the 32" there is plenty of room for windows. I was considering OLED but with my usage

Beginning My First Serious Sim Rig Build — Any Must-Have Parts?
If you have that kind of money may i suggest going with the samsung odyssey neo G7 or G8 instead they are true HDR monitors and HDR wont make you better but it is pretty cool and they cost like 100-200 more than these monitors Edit the Neo G8 does have some flickering issues at 240hz soo if you dont

LG GX704AB VS Samsung Odyssey G61SD
I've had Samsung or LG TV's for the last 20 years , and while I had 1 LG monitor, I've recently got my 4th or 5th Samsung, either way, I don't think any would be a bad choice. I've not tried either of these mentioned, so take this with a grain of salt, but I recently got a Samsung Odyssey G7 and it'

What’s a good budget card to upgrade to from RTX 2060?
I play at 4k with my 5070 and 5800x3d. I play on a 43 inch 4k Samsung Odessey Neo G7 and its fantastic. Most games will run 60 plus especially with dlss with Ultra/High settings. Don't expect high refresh rate unless you use multiframe generation or your playing older generation titles. 1440p oled w
