Pretty sure it is more than triple for some brands. 😵💫 Crazy. I got 4TB of Samsung 990 Pro NVMe in 2024 for $260 and the same brand right now is almost $1100 (4x).

I bought a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB NVME before the price hike for £250. The same one today is £625. I feel sorry for anyone looking to buy one in today's market.

Is that re-release of 5800X3D a thing now? If so and not too nuts a price (more like the £250-275 I let it pass me by than the far more it got to later) then it's a steal. I can wait longer with that option. I can see it getting swarmed though cos I can't be alone in being a bit behind, short on spe

No need to get a samsung 990 pro ssd you can get a cheaper one with barelly any difference with that money you should be able to either get an used rx9070xt or get a better motherboard. A motherboard upgrades are mentally bad. Also no need for a 150€ cooler an regular 70€ is as good

IDK what your options are, but... RAM: Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5 6000 CL30 If you can get something cheaper, anything that's 6000-6400 MT/s with CL 36 or below is good. You can probably get something equivalent or 99% as good for $100-250 cheaper. Case Fans: Arctic Cooling P12 Pro aRGB Bl

If you're sticking with the 256GB base storage on the M4 Mac Mini, external enclosures are a game-changer for cheap, fast expansion. Grab a couple of NVMe SSDs (like Samsung 990 Pro) and pop them into USB4/Thunderbolt enclosures (like Satechi Mac Mini M4 Stand & Hub) - you'll get read/write speeds c
