So my $1,749 AUD ($1,150 USD taxes included) Legion Go 2 finally arrived from Lenovo Direct, and I’d love to share some first impressions below — spoiler: they’re pretty damn good!

So the mistake that a LOT of folks make with regards to their machines and trying to be "future proof" is that they end up spending a ton more on things that they don't need and likely won't need. In this case, I'm not seeing a ton of wasted money (no Samsung 990 Pro, no Corsair everything, etc). It

I ordered a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB from Amazon Warehouse (resale), but after installing, it showed as a 1TB 980 in BIOS and Samsung Magician. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the 980 had fewer chips and a slightly different PCB color.

Since this came from Amazon Warehouse, it’s likely someone swapped

I have just completed the ssd upgrade to a Samsung 990 pro 4tb, and as there are no videos as yet, I followed the same process for Asus ROG ally x(which I own also) and was extremely gentle to not strip screws or break tabs, also I knew there would be a ribbon connector to the 2 half's so paid extr
