Advices on protecting external SSDs in case of an electricity outage?

I've gone through this exact outage anxiety and it usually starts with one bad save cycle. A APC Back-UPS Pro 750 in front of the mini and router is the biggest improvement because it gives you time to close MAMP cleanly instead of sudden yanks. For the drive side, a Crucial MX500 SATA SSD is a stab

Is this PC build good for gaming + development (LLMs too)? Any changes you would make?

cpu : you've chosen a gaming CPU, if you have heavy compute tasks (like jobs that run for 20+ minutes at a time) that you are going to run, consider 9950x3d. cpu cooler: a 420 aio is overkill, I would recommend a 360 aio or even an air cooler, but 420 will work. if going with 9950, would recommend a

To use x3 SSDs i'm applied as workaround a m.2 pci-e expansion card into slot which goes through chipset pci-e lines to not deduce lines for the GPU (from 16x to 8x). Did that matter for my rx9070xt? Most likely no. I use x870e pro ice, but seems Gigabyte didn't changed plans for other mobo models i

Help with a PC for music composition and production

I think for you here the Ryzen 9 5950x is the best option with its massive multi-core power. That is assuming you often work with high track count orchestral templates. SSD: Samsung evo is a great drive with good sustained read/write speeds, added a cheaper sata drive for less commonly used templates
