“The best” is very, very, VERY subjective in this field - what is best for one person will not be something another person would ever consider. A couple of points to start from: You want colour and mangas - that narrows the field down somewhat. I don’t read manga but from what I can tell, most peopl

I understand you fully. I switched from an oasis 2nd gen which I loved dearly. I made the switch back in February when Amazon removed the download books option from their website. I tried different e-readers from pocketbook and kobo. I settled with the kobo as it offered better syncing options with

If you need colour for images, then perhaps. If you read mostly text, then stick to black and white. I have a PocketBook InkPad Colour 3. The colour screen is alright, but black and white eReaders are just much better for reading at the current state of eInk technology.

8" InkPad 4. For manga applies the bigger the better, I use it daily for reading manga. Even bigger devices would get less handy and you would have to look into Android ereaders (of which there are a couple out there). The colour tech unluckily has disadvantages for colour content, for manga (and bo

This gets a bit complicated, especially If you never had used a colour and a black & white ereader. And especially because returning a device will just cause hassles I guess. You should first decide if you want a colour ereader or a black and white one. This is not just about colour yes/no. The only

The question colour or not can only be answered by yourself, and you already did it. If you are willing to accept the disadvantages, try it out. Even if you find people who agree that it's worth switching to colour, you could be disappointed, and even when I tell you I would never buy a colour devic

I was on that trouble too and choose Kobo because I didn't want to go keep on that Amazon loop (this was years ago, before downloading was removed). Like you, books are expensive on Kobo for me but I was able to download them… Until a few years later (don't remember how many lol), when they removed

I think the InkPad Lite it is more or less OK; I already wrote about the ppi a 4K 27' monitor has, and therefore I suspect the screen is... OK-ish? But for me it is important that you are at least relatively sure about what you possibly are getting when buying it (it's still hard, up to impossible,

Oh, I very consider this! Most users will just buy a device and use it as it is, some will compare two or more devices and buy the one which looks like the better one... I myself would likely calibrate the screen against real images to compare against (if possible), because I am a bit picky when it

I have been using PocketBook InkPad Color 3 for more than a year. The device is great, especially if you really need the color screen. Also, I have a newer and lighter Boox Go 7 with BW screen. PocketBook feels more consisted and polished device. Yes, it offers way less features than Boox and slower
