Cheap colored ereader
I could be wrong but I think there’s only 2 coloured ereaders available. Quite wrong, yes. :-) Kindle Colorsoft, Kobo Clara Colour, Kobo Libra Colour, PocketBook Verse Pro Colour, PocketBook Era Colour, PocketBook Inkpad 3 Colour, and a gazillion of Android eInk devices just to start with, from Boox

What is the best ereader in 2025?
“The best” is very, very, VERY subjective in this field - what is best for one person will not be something another person would ever consider. A couple of points to start from: You want colour and mangas - that narrows the field down somewhat. I don’t read manga but from what I can tell, most peopl

Is anyone actually using an SD card?
I almost exclusively read Manga and I "only" have 32gb build in without a SD card slot, which is unfortunately not enough. It is cheap for manufacturers to build in and I can't understand they don't give this flexibility to users tbh. I'm using a PocketBook InkPad Color 3.

Smartphone-less set-up at work
PocketBook InkPad Color 3. Colors aren't vibrant, they look like printed on a newspaper, but it allows me to read comics on the go and that's enough for me. It weights more than other ereaders, tho, so it's really unpleasant to have it fall on one's face when reading in bed.

Trying to decide on upgrade from a dying Kobo Clara HD
My first e-reader is a Kobo Clara HD (6 inch, 300 ppi) that I got second hand for 20 bucks last year. It's served me well but the battery is pretty much toast; it completely dies once it reaches around 85% and then takes over a day to recharge and goes through a factory reset, so I basically have to

If you are looking for an eReader this Christmas, there is one from Europe - Pocketbook/Vivlio
I bought a PocketBook InkPad Color 3 a year ago and wanted to love it but it's a frustrating device. It is so insanely slow. Navigating menus to do anything other than turn pages in a book made me mad. Especially frustrating because other manufacturers manage to make their eReaders snappy. I switche

Pocketbook doesn't need KOReader
I have the opposite experience. I have a Kobo Libra 2 and a Pocketbook Inkpad Colour 3. I never understood the Koreader hype when I only had the Kobo. Pocketbook for me is unusable with its stock UI. I was actually going to sell it before putting Koreader on it. Bizarrely it’s super sluggish if you

Viwoods e reader colour.
If you need colour for images, then perhaps. If you read mostly text, then stick to black and white. I have a PocketBook InkPad Colour 3. The colour screen is alright, but black and white eReaders are just much better for reading at the current state of eInk technology.

Pocketbook vs Kobo & Kindle
I own a Pocketbook Inkpad Color 3 and I love my device. I had in the past Kindle for many years and my wife has a Kobo, so I know other brands very well. Pocketbook devices have good quality and the software works without problems. The best thing is that with the Pocketbook app you can sync your boo

kobo OR pocketbook OR onyx boox ? :)
8" InkPad 4. For manga applies the bigger the better, I use it daily for reading manga. Even bigger devices would get less handy and you would have to look into Android ereaders (of which there are a couple out there). The colour tech unluckily has disadvantages for colour content, for manga (and bo
