Cheap colored ereader
I could be wrong but I think there’s only 2 coloured ereaders available. Quite wrong, yes. :-) Kindle Colorsoft, Kobo Clara Colour, Kobo Libra Colour, PocketBook Verse Pro Colour, PocketBook Era Colour, PocketBook Inkpad 3 Colour, and a gazillion of Android eInk devices just to start with, from Boox

Pocketbook doesn't need KOReader
I have the opposite experience. I have a Kobo Libra 2 and a Pocketbook Inkpad Colour 3. I never understood the Koreader hype when I only had the Kobo. Pocketbook for me is unusable with its stock UI. I was actually going to sell it before putting Koreader on it. Bizarrely it’s super sluggish if you

Pocketbook vs Kobo & Kindle
I own a Pocketbook Inkpad Color 3 and I love my device. I had in the past Kindle for many years and my wife has a Kobo, so I know other brands very well. Pocketbook devices have good quality and the software works without problems. The best thing is that with the Pocketbook app you can sync your boo

kobo OR pocketbook OR onyx boox ? :)
8" InkPad 4. For manga applies the bigger the better, I use it daily for reading manga. Even bigger devices would get less handy and you would have to look into Android ereaders (of which there are a couple out there). The colour tech unluckily has disadvantages for colour content, for manga (and bo

Kobo VS Kindle
I was on that trouble too and choose Kobo because I didn't want to go keep on that Amazon loop (this was years ago, before downloading was removed). Like you, books are expensive on Kobo for me but I was able to download them… Until a few years later (don't remember how many lol), when they removed

Looking for new e-reader. Confused with all advices. NOT KINDLE
I use my Kobo signed out and permanently offline. That way when I open my KLC, it goes right to my library and I don't have to click off a shop page with recommendations. Tolino are just rebanded Kobos, with the Kobo shop removed, and the Tolino Alliance added. Tolino Alliance lets you pick your boo

Thanks for the recommendations. My first ereader...
Nice choice! I switched from kindle to the InkPad Color 3 in April and I love it! Koreader is a great choice IMO; I love being able to customize each book. Here's the instructions if you want to take a look: https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Installation-on-PocketBook-devices

Kobo Libra Colour vs Kobo Clara BW/Colour vs PocketBook Era Color mainly for manga?
im deciding to buy a new e-reader for books and manga right now too. And i will buy a Pocketbook InkPad just because it‘s 7.8“ and i think that’s just ideal for manga.I looked at the Era too in a local store, which would be interesting because of the size (which would be easier to take with me) and

Got a B751C S to replace my Kobo : pretty disapointed
PocketBook are the worst ereaders for manga. no right to left mode no double page spreads management zoom is so slow you cannot use it I had the Inkpad Colour 3 and it was just bad for this use. And they don't even allow you to make notes with a stylus. The KLC is already 32Go which is nice and more

I absolutely love the integration of Koreader with Pocketbook.
I have both a Kobo Libra Colour and a PocketBook Inkpad Color and without Koreader, I feel the PocketBook would almost be unusable. The native UI is so so slow. Thankfully, koreader makes it usable.
