I compared 50 carry on backpacks against Ryanair's sizer. About 52% of them fail including some of this sub's favorites
I thought the osprey 26+6 was the most recommended here tbh

For one bag sub everyone seems to have many, if you could only own one bag, which would it be?
Owning multiple bags is not the same as carrying multiple bags. Osprey 26+6 is the ideal bag in my opinion.

This subreddit changed my life + What I learned
The “bag review” nerds love sh*tting on Osprey when they can. I watched a review on the Daylite 26+6 today and they said to “try these substitutes.” They were 2-3.5x the price! I actually needed a smaller bag than my Farpoint 40 and went with the Daylite 26+6 in black. There’s probably a great $250

A genie appears in front of you and makes you a one time offer.
Wow this Osprey™ Daylite™ Expandable Travel Pack 26+6 looks so cool! Is it available at {{local retail location}} I'm sorry but the bag brand is so unnecessary it screams inauthentic ad content. A way to get redditors to do a web search for this pack and maybe buy it. I hate the modern internet.

Bag rec for 9 y/o
30L+ seems like a lot for a 9yo to carry. Check out some of the posts from petite onebaggers on here to get a feel for volume/weight carry. Osprey 26+6 is currently on sale for $75. Alternatively, consider getting her a daypack that can be her main bag now and her packable bag when she's older and h

The best starter bag for Onebag travel?
The Osprey 26+6 is one of the best combinations of flexibility (26 or 32L), durability, and price. Excellent choice for beginning to explore one bag territory especially for short trips. Works best as a personal item bag but I’d argue it’s an essential bag for the one bag arsenal.

Paris in February with 1.5 Bags!
I just bought that Osprey 26+6 too--glad to read its praises! And I agree 100% about the museums-- tbh I could not get out of the Louvre fast enough. For future France travelers: In boulangeries ask for a baguette tradition, not classique. Huge difference in flavor and crust!

Osprey Daylight 26+6 vs Patagonia Micro MLC for 4 day trip
I have not used the Patagonia. I have the Osprey 26+6. I use it all the time. Since my home airport is small I usually fly with a rolling under seater sized bag and my Osprey 26+6 to avoid being gate checked. My work trips typically last 5-6 days. I am able to fit my laptop, work documents, one pair

Are Brand Name Backpacks Worth It?
I tend to buy brands I know and trust. My hiking pack is an Osprey and I love it and it wears like iron. So it was a no brainer to go with them for my smaller travel bag (26+6.) I also have an original, first run, twenty something year old Patagonia MLC as my bigger one bag option (45.) it’s my ride

Are Brand Name Backpacks Worth It?
The somewhat pricier bags usually have better quality materials and more of the features I want in a bag. I also like being able to try bags on to test fit, I live near an REI, and I just don't want to deal with ordering bags and then returning ones that I don't like. But, I very rarely buy bags at
