Gamer chairs have terrible ergonomics and the build quality is often ass. People only think they're good because they've only used something like a wooden kitchen chair or an Ikea Markus. Proper office chairs are far superior.

Every time I look at setups like this my first and only thought is "there is no space for the mouse". The entire desk surface seems smaller than a G840 mousemat in both directions and leaves no room for the forearm for arm aiming. Also, the reclining chair doesn't seem particularly conducive to focu

In the low Price Segment Ikea Markus is very good for Most Asses 😅 Me personal would Buy a good one because you spend like 40h a Week on this chair. Hermann Miller aeron for example is Completly adjustable to your Body and very comfortable and durable but expensive. you asked for Buy it for life and

Was in the same situation couple years back and the Ikea Marcus was the second tier favorite at the time. Not even a 2k+ chair will fix your underlying issues (my old job always bought the ergo best and cycled them as new hotness came about) but a Marcus should not exacerbate issues like a cheap Off

An ikea markus has better reclining mechanism and ergonomy, than most gaming chairs at 2x-3x price. You just have to look for something better, and not get stuck at "but gaming chairs are cheaper than herman miller"

Rm600 isn't that much for an ergonomic chair. Ikea markus which i would regard as entry level ergonomic chair cost rm600. Its ergonomics are not top tier but its build quality is solid as it is made of metal. This chair seems to have many moving parts and it looks like it is made of plastic. Best wa

If you are going for an Aeron, you really need to try before you buy. They come in different sizes based on size and weight. But the issue is in my experience seat pan isn’t adjustable so you need to make your legs are properly supported. Steelcase Leap V2 are also decent. You see them pop up the od

Had the IKEA Markus for 5+ years. Solid chair, but I was at the same place with you, sitting 12+ hours per day. I got the gaming embody 3 years ago and never looked back. Love the chair
