My Logitech collection is growing :)
The Ikea Markus is shit. If it's fits you out of the box that's great, but for the majority of users having an adjustable base, adjustable arm rests and adjustable lumbar support is a requirement so chairs actually fit us.

Reintroducing sitting?
I've found that the chair is the most important thing, and not the pillows, I use an Ikea Markus. The thing is that the chair needs to have a proper lumbar support, so most of the tension will go on the lumbar area and not on the pelvic area. An electric heating pad on the sitting area also helps.

Do you adjust the Lumbar support from time to time or just set it up once?
I'm 185 cm tall and weigh 110 kg. I switched from Ikea Markus. The big problem for me is, the lumbar protrudes much more strongly, the more I recline in the chair. So if I sit upright, I have to protrude it 1/3rd of the way up to not sit like a shrimp. But when I want to recline, it suddenly pierces

chair suggestions
I don't have any major issues like you cited, but I do have a bad back and really need a very supportive chair because I sit 8+ hours a day for work. For years I've used the IKEA Markus chair (I've worn out two of them and on my 3rd). If you have an IKEA nearby probably worth checking one out. Very

I just commented that the Markus from IKEA is a safe bet haha, gaming chairs are death traps for your back (and wallet)

Need help finding an comfortable chair
I always try sitting in chairs before buying too, and the closest showroom I could find where I live was Sihoo Australia. But since you’re not in Australia, ahahaha, you can check IKEA. At IKEA, the MARKUS felt comfy with good back support, while MATCHSPEL was firmer and a bit snug. Really, focus on

Simracing position / lower back pain
I have this exact setup but with an IKEA Markus office chair. No back pain but sometimes some hip pain if I do an endurance race. I feel it’s unavoidable in most setups like this. My chair base sits way more flat and no sloped back like yours then the back is basically straight up and down vs yours

Guys I want a chair that’s ergonomic cause I have back pains already cause of a previous accident and well I sim race and play fps titles so I want a chair that can be used for both, preferably cheap too under $ 100 ig
under 100 for a decent ergo chair is tough tbh. at that budget look for a used IKEA MARKUS on marketplace - usually 60-80 and has good lumbar. new options like Hbada ergonomic chair run about 90 but build quality is meh. for sim racing you really want fixed back not recline motion or your spine move
