POV of gamers rushing to yell slurs after League of Legends added voice chat
Every time I look at setups like this my first and only thought is "there is no space for the mouse". The entire desk surface seems smaller than a G840 mousemat in both directions and leaves no room for the forearm for arm aiming. Also, the reclining chair doesn't seem particularly conducive to focu

Gamers are Toddlers
Gamer chairs have terrible ergonomics and the build quality is often ass. People only think they're good because they've only used something like a wooden kitchen chair or an Ikea Markus. Proper office chairs are far superior.

Company has mandated 2 days WFH from next week. Help me set up!
I personally think standing desks are redundant unless you are constantly on video calls, you can just stand and work at your usual desk and see if that's comfortable. At least a 24 inch FHD external monitor is a must, you can adjust the size and resolution based on your use case. If you don't care

Planning to buy this. But before that, i want to ask your suggestion on ergonomic chair in the same price range. Rm400 or less.
i have ikea markus Chair and so far its great for me although its a bit above ur budget. From what i personally see, gaming brand chairs are mainly for asthetics rather than fully ergonomic. Try looking for office chairs if u want fully ergonomic chairs. Ikea has another office chair also, Ikea Flin

Seriously will someone suggest a brand that doesn't suck
An ikea markus has better reclining mechanism and ergonomy, than most gaming chairs at 2x-3x price. You just have to look for something better, and not get stuck at "but gaming chairs are cheaper than herman miller"

Co worker refuses to use good chair
Choosing an office chair for someone else is NOT a nice gesture. You might not intend it like that but it is the most evil thing you can do to someone who has to sit for 8h a day The Ikea Markus is a nice chair but it's definitely not for everyone, don't expect someone to break their back just becau

Vana kontoritool on otsi andmas, oleks vist aeg uus soetada. Oleksin tänulik kui oskate soovitada mõnda budget friendly kontoritooli.
IKEA Markus - 150€ vms? Best bang for buck tool, kunagi tegin researchi ja kuskil oli see valitud isegi kolmandale kohale best chairs vms listis(esimesed 2 olid herman millerid), siiani kõik semud kes proovinud on, ei ole kahetsenud.

What computer chair would you recommend and from where in Adelaide?
Cloth and mesh are your friends. Fuck the pleather shit! Edit: my current chair is a 10y old Markus form IKEA. I bought a new one recently as the old one is kinda dirty looking now but it still functions! New one was nearly $100 cheaper than the original purchase.

What chair do y'all use
Ikea Markus. Skip anything with the gaming label, office chairs are infinitely more comfortable. The arms are easily removed for simming, originally why I got it. r/OfficeChairs

Does expansive makes it better? (Gaming chair)
agree and disagree, though I agree with the gaming chair and desk are a scam I also think spending more on a good office chair is better than getting something like the Markus or Matchspel from IKEA, chairs like the leap v2 or aeron etc (yes it's quite a lot more expensive) but if you're gonna be sp
