Personally, I realised I kinda hate fancy office chairs. I feel like they’re made for sitting perfectly still in one ideal ergonomic position and don’t let you move around. My all time favourite chair is the humble IKEA MARKUS. Its wide af cushion accommodates positions 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 12, althoug

My Logitech collection is growing :)
The Ikea Markus is shit. If it's fits you out of the box that's great, but for the majority of users having an adjustable base, adjustable arm rests and adjustable lumbar support is a requirement so chairs actually fit us.

Help me choose a desk chair
I woiuld advise against an Ikea desk chair. I've had the 1st and 3rd one. The Markus (1st) is decent, but very one size fits all and I didn't use it for long enough to see how it holds up after a year. The 3rd one was really great at first, but wore out very quickly and ended up making my body feel

Bought a new desk and a stool isn't going to work. Chair suggestions on the cheap that's comfortable for painting.
This depends on your body, recommendations are not going to help much. Ideally you would try it, but it's not possible with Amazon. As long as the chair has decent materials, like ok quality foam and no screws protruding, it can work if it fits your body proportions, despite the price. With more exp

What is something that is incredibly expensive but is actually 100% worth every penny?
I sat in the ikea markus for 8 hours a day, so mneh. The shittiness of the markus is only really a durability and adjustability thing. The seat is going to fall apart after a few years and need reupholstering or replacing. Comfort I think will vary by body type. I tried other chairs in the hm store

Finding ergonomic / gaming chairs for 6ft+ tall people
Try out an IKEA Markus - I’m 6’4” and it’s perfect for me, going on 10 years with mine. Much cheaper than a lot of the other branded chairs too

Computer chair recs: Do any of you have a chair where you're able to sit with your legs crossed?
I have an ikea chair that i bought like 10ish years ago that I took the arms off because I like to sit cross legged. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/markus-office-chair-vissle-dark-gray-90289172/

Anyone can recommend a comfortable chair for a +80kg dude?
At this point can get the Ikea Markus chair la if it's available near you. Can try first also. I personally don't like it (I am short and I don't like headrests) but a lot of people like it. Slightly over your budget though

$90 Amazon gaming chair — am I gonna regret this in 6 months?
Honestly, yes. They’re mostly the same rebranded stuff and don’t really hold up if you’re sitting 6–8 hours a day. If you want something that actually lasts, go for the X5 Pro. I’ve used it myself got it from Xallking Australia, and it’s solid, breathable, and actually built for long hours. It’s mor
