Gamers are Toddlers

Gamer chairs have terrible ergonomics and the build quality is often ass. People only think they're good because they've only used something like a wooden kitchen chair or an Ikea Markus. Proper office chairs are far superior.

Europe makes the best chairs in the world. Here is what to buy instead of Herman Miller if you are in the EU.

If you don't want to buy US, you can also fetch some Sidiz (or Techo/white label-branded) chairs that are built in Europe despite being a South Korean design. Amazon used to stock these (namely the T50, but well, that's another US company...), but in Portugal I know they are sold by Guialmi and Marl

My Logitech collection is growing :)

The Ikea Markus is shit. If it's fits you out of the box that's great, but for the majority of users having an adjustable base, adjustable arm rests and adjustable lumbar support is a requirement so chairs actually fit us.

Help me choose a desk chair

I woiuld advise against an Ikea desk chair. I've had the 1st and 3rd one. The Markus (1st) is decent, but very one size fits all and I didn't use it for long enough to see how it holds up after a year. The 3rd one was really great at first, but wore out very quickly and ended up making my body feel

My productivity setup

Looks clean! Please get a better chair tho. Going from the IKEA Markus to a Herman Miller was life changing and worth every penny.

Do you adjust the Lumbar support from time to time or just set it up once?

I'm 185 cm tall and weigh 110 kg. I switched from Ikea Markus. The big problem for me is, the lumbar protrudes much more strongly, the more I recline in the chair. So if I sit upright, I have to protrude it 1/3rd of the way up to not sit like a shrimp. But when I want to recline, it suddenly pierces

Desk is too high and looking for solution.

Yeah that sucks. Desks like that really shouldn't be used for long work sessions. The only solution is to change the desk, so that it has the thickness of a normal desktop, like 3-4cm. Yes, the narrowness of this space is also really awkward. You need more space so you can move around, stand up, str

What is the best office chair for wfh?

Don't go for one that looks super padded that you can sink into. In my experience, the padding doesn't last and then they become very uncomfortable. I have an operator chair that cost over 200 quid and while it doesn't look the comfiest, it still feels as firm as it did a few years ago and it forces
