any temperture is ok. modern computers are designed to slow down the processor if it becomes to hot and if it gets too extreme even after that it will simply turn off the motherboard. 75 degrees celsius is perfectly fine. mine occasionally run at up to 95 degrees, which is still within their designe

These are a newer design with better cooling and more features. The M6 Ultra is a refresh of the older 6600H M6 that GMKtec only upgraded to the 7640HS processor. The K8 Plus and K11 have actual AMD supported processors where the K12 has a defective one for the Chinese market. I wasn't very impresse

The least you could have done is benchmarking your NVME M2 SSD, things like "i don t trust this , i don t feel like" are not Tech argument. Same goes with the RAM, you could have benchmark its performances and then draw some conclusion.btw TSMC is the best processor manufacturer period, i didn t kno

Im running a GMKtec K12 for about a month now. I got it as a barebone and installed cheap used 32GB crucial ram and a 512GB china AirDisk + 1tb external ssd In jellyfin it transcodes at about 230fps for a single 1080p stream, but most of my webdl files dont require video transcoding. I got a more po

I got my K12 and am using it for over 2 weeks now, I must say its quite good and no issues whatsoever, I installed Linux Ubuntu latest version on it directly and everything running smoothly without any issues, I got mine barebone, got my own RAM 48GB and 4TB. The CPU Ryzen 7 H 255 works great and qu

I'm kind of new to the Chinese Mini PC market. Didn't know anything existed past an Intel NUC. What I do know of GMKtec is the K8 Plus and K11 are the same. The K11 you pay more for a slightly better processor and the silly RGB fan 😊 Other then those two features they're the same. The K12 is newer b

Couldn't stand the fan noises from either K12 fan, but I do have wolf type ears and the K12 is 10-12 inches away from me on my desk. While u/grykom has done magic for the K12 and solved, I think pretty much all the flaws GMKTEC love to put into their mini pcs last several years, I don't have access

Just played it for an hour or so, so far I like it, the playability is there, ideas obviously taken from other RTS games. Happy with the game engine, played it on my GMKtec k12 mini PC as opposed to my full spec PC tower case, running smoothly, processor and iGPU didn't get too warm. Would love for

I have both k12 and k8 plus. My general use cases: run bunch of vms for managing homelab kubernetes, file server etc. on top of proxmox For the cooling I'm impressed with K12 as in idle state it stays around 36 degrees (celsius), while k8 plus. I replaced k8's thermal paste with a thermal pad, which
