No RGB mini NAS+HA build for 135$

i have something similar, just on a slightly more expensive platform: this is a GMKtec K12 (atm on Aliexpress for 267€ as barebone minus voucher). i added 64GB ram, which i got for about 270 euros, 1 1TB nvme ssd i had laying around plus the same 6 port sata card the OP uses. that one is connected t

Best Gaming Mini-PC for $500-$600?

I think the GMKtec K12 is probs good value at $500 (Ryzen 7 8745HS CPU, Radeon 780M iGPU - 32gb RAM, 500GB SSD) vs competitors who have soldered ram and less expandability. The K12 has three SSD slots and you can replace the RAM. Plus it has an OCulink port so you can plug a dedicated GPU to max gam

Gmktec k8 plus or k12

The third M.2 slot on the K12 is awkwardly placed, there's a capacitor right underneath it so you don't really have space to put a heat sink on your NVME in that slot if that's a thing you're wanting to do. K12 is also down to a single USB4 port vs the two on the K8+ for whatever reason. I went with

Any experiences on Linux compatibility for GMKtec NucBox K12 AMD Ryzen™ 7 H 255 Mini PC ?

I got my K12 and am using it for over 2 weeks now, I must say its quite good and no issues whatsoever, I installed Linux Ubuntu latest version on it directly and everything running smoothly without any issues, I got mine barebone, got my own RAM 48GB and 4TB. The CPU Ryzen 7 H 255 works great and qu

$600 - Best Mini PC for Gaming?

I just bought the GMKTec K12 from Amazon for $499. It will be a great little gaming PC. The model I bought had 32GB RAM/512GB Drive (which there is room to add two additional NVMe drives)

Does the gmktec k 12 have better CPU temperatures than the k11 and k8?

I have gmktec k12...when I playing sons of the forest with high-ultra setting,my CPU temperature reach 80-88c with stock thermal paste... So...I decide to change the stock thermal paste with PTM 7950 thermal pad and the maximum CPU temp only reach 69c while playing sons of the forest for 11 minutes

I didn't like the original case, so I created and 3D-printed a new one (GMKtec K12).

Couldn't stand the fan noises from either K12 fan, but I do have wolf type ears and the K12 is 10-12 inches away from me on my desk. While u/grykom has done magic for the K12 and solved, I think pretty much all the flaws GMKTEC love to put into their mini pcs last several years, I don't have access

Good mini pc (sold on amazon) that allows for a modern dedicated graphics card to be installed?

I'm running a gmktec k12, it has a dedicated oculink port for external gpu setup. I tested with my old gtx1060 and it works fine, no troublesome setup. Buy egpu dock + psu, 650w is generally fine unless you're using 3090, 4080, 4090, etc. since 650w psu won't have enough power cables. Install nvidia

Where did the SER8s go?

I would suggest looking at better alternatives, like the GMKtec Nucbox k8 Plus or K12. The K12 is slightly better imho since it has 3 SSD slots instead of 2. They're pretty much similar in specs and price as the Ser8 except they have Oculink too. I have the K8 Plus myself, and it's been excellent. O
