Studio Display

The new Studio Display with a tilt-adjustable stand starts at $1,599, and Studio Display XDR with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand starts at $3,299. Ouch. Studio Display XDR replaces Pro Display XDR [...] Interesting that Apple will no longer offer a 32" 6K display.

Most of my friends crap on me for buying an Apple Studio Display, but I have to say, it really did away with the nightmare of having to utilize a docking station, desktop speakers, and a million cables. Is it too late to return the mini?

A bunch of companies have now released or are releasing superior 5k monitors, some with dual mode 5k/2k displays, mini led backlit, a lot with 180hz refresh rate, Asus has their super accurate/calibrate pro art 5k monitor now and they're all around or under $1000. First Studio Display was ridiculous

It's $1,199.99 USD. Cheaper than Apples Studio Display, still a pretty penny that I won't be able to afford.

For $3000+ they might as well throw it in there. The Studio display in general is super overengineered if you watched the teardown, just like the $999 Pro Stand hinge mechanism. I guess that's what Apple does on their high end products when they aren't held back by a specific price point

I have changed my setup a few times and wanted something with larger displays plus the ability to move my desk anywhere. Honestly, it is by far my favorite setup and so confirmable to use. I actually had a single Apple Studio Display, but for the same price replaced it with these two OLED Tv's

The real question is Why doesn’t Apple make a ‘budget’ screen for all these people buying the mini. Theres no way everyone’s buying a £1.5k studio display so they’re leaving money on the table somewhere
