Studio Display

Most of my friends crap on me for buying an Apple Studio Display, but I have to say, it really did away with the nightmare of having to utilize a docking station, desktop speakers, and a million cables. Is it too late to return the mini?

Yeah it's pretty user-hostile. I think the idea is that you buy a new device if you want the VESA mount. I'm sure they sold several hundred extra Studio Displays for just this reason.

I know a lot of people are focusing on Mini LED and 120 Hz (and rightfully so considering how much Apple will probably charge), but I do think the small quality of life improvements matter just as much. FWIW, I just returned an XDR because of bad eye fatigue/dry eyes. Not sure what caused it. May have been the PWM. YMMV of course, but a DC dimmed monitor may be best for the eyes. The regular Studio Display has no PWM if you want 5k
