One of my two Anycubic m5s pro vats is stripped. My elegoo mars2 pro vat has been fine for many years, one of my two Saturn 4 ultra vats is stripping. Just seems to be a crapshoot. I just sand it down smooth so no chunks come off in the vat. Whether it's bare metal or not doesn't affect anything.

Small update: I decided to go with the Anycubic M7 Max. Otherwise, I probably would have gone with the Anycubic P1 - but that build plate is almost the same size as my current M5s Pro, and I was looking to upgrade to a large-format printer.

I went from the Anycubic photon m5s pro to the Saturn 4 ultra and I don’t see myself ever going back to Anycubic. I actually went to print something on the M5sp to try and calibrate it as well as I had the Saturn and the boxes of calibration failed and stuck to the ACF. That kinda sealed it for me
