Is there something wrong with this resin?

WTF 9s? I just have my first print on Anycubic M5s pro. Printed some miniature with 1.8s, heavy support on Phonton Studio. It comes out ok but definitely has room for improvement. I would really appreciate if anyone could share their setting on this resin.

Is 4 Ultra 16K a problematic printer as people say?

Every printer ever made has had someone with a failure out of the box. And as has been said a thousand times, people don't post when they're happy. The only printer I've had that was a constant pain was the m5s pro and Anycubic stopped selling that one conspicuously quickly. My ultra 16k has been a

What the actual heck is this adheasion?

You are fighting 2 issues here (as is typical), leveling, and lack of wait times. Iirc, the M5S Pro is an auto leveling printer, so you’re already off to a bad start. These printers don’t actually level, something ‘floats’. On Anycubic printers it’s the LCD. So no matter how much you level the build

The hood of my M3 has something dried inside of it, and it really stinks of plastic.

I have personally experienced this before on used machines. Here’s what worked for me: Fill the hood with hot, concentrated Mean Green and let it soak for a while. After that, buff it out with Meguiar’s PlastX — the kind made for restoring cloudy headlights. Honestly, treat it just like a cloudy car

Whats the best resin printers out there? Looking for reliability, detail more than speed,

Look for a printer with some form of assisted levelling, a load sensor to detect fails. As a foundation these two imo are really the only quality of life features to come to resin printing since mono screens. A nice bonus feature to look for is exposure calibration. If the printer you end up on does

Why does it keep shutting down??

That's this page, correct? https://store.anycubic.com/products/adapter-1 Unfortunately, this isn't the adapter for your model. Though it says it's for the Photon Series, implying all Photon mosel printers, it's actually only compatible with a very skint few models, listed on the page (Air Heat& Pure

Is it normal for the vat to start stripping the black paint?

One of my two Anycubic m5s pro vats is stripped. My elegoo mars2 pro vat has been fine for many years, one of my two Saturn 4 ultra vats is stripping. Just seems to be a crapshoot. I just sand it down smooth so no chunks come off in the vat. Whether it's bare metal or not doesn't affect anything.

What are people resorting to for all these expensive models?

I love my Anycubic Mono M5S Pro, I just use a 70-30 mix of regular resin to abs-like and it makes well-detailed models that don't break when you drop them onto hard floors from 6ft up.

What is with all the sub par resin printers?

Just my two cents. I have the ultra 16k and have had zero issues with the drip tray and zero issues leveling the build plate. As far as screen replacement, I did a screen on my anycubic m5s pro and I had to take a significant amount of it apart. I'm not sure why that's such a deal breaker. It's defi
