Gifted an incredible machine but can’t afford a top tier grinder to match…what’s good enough? [$250]

If you don't mind turning the crank yourself, you can get incredible value from a manual grinder. I have a 1zpresso J-Ultra, and I'm so happy with it. Easy to clean, grinds 18g coffee in about 30 seconds, 8 micron adjustment means I can dial in any coffee to its sweet spot. Plus it is very quiet fir

Manual Espresso Grinder: Kinu M47 Classic vs 1zpresso J Ultra [No Budget]

I am extremely happy with my recent purchase of a J-ultra. It's about 30 seconds to grind the 17-19g I use in a shot. 1zpresso build quality is very nice, comes with a case and cleaning tools, super easy to use and the adjustment steps are suitably fine so you can dial in a ristretto or a normal sho

Help me with a manual grinder? [$1000]

A nice 1Zpresso J-Ultra overview/review: https://coffeegeek.com/reviews/firstlooks/1zpresso-j-ultra-manual-grinder-first-look/.. I greatly appreciate the grinder's precise 8-micron steps, for dialing-in espresso.

Baratza encore ESP vs kingrinder k6?[$200]

The KinGrinder K6 manual grinder is well-regarded here for its quality/output/price value ratio; typically priced in the U.S. at just under US$100. Up from there, the 1Zpresso J-Ultra really is a hand-grinding star, albeit at ~double the KinGrinder K6's price. A major difference between the two: the

Requesting clarity on versatility of Timemore C3s for planned equipment upgrade.

C3S is solid for moka pot and filter( v60 , chemex, aeropress etc) no complaints there But for espresso: don't push it below ~7 clicks ( best if u use it above 9or 10 clicks) Going finer than that regularly can stress the burrs and damage the grinder. C3 series isn't really designed for true espress

Manual Espresso Grinder: Kinu M47 Classic vs 1zpresso J Ultra [No Budget]

While the 1Zpresso J-Ultra is stepped, the steps are 8 microns, which seems to me to be ~a sweet spot for dialing in (I also have a separate electric grinder that uses 2.2-micron steps, and I find that when I dial in with it, I typically jump 3 steps at a time--there's a practical limit as to the ef

I cannot for the life of me decide on a grinder !! [$500]

Have you considered a portable electric grinder like femobook a2? If you want to keep it small in the kitchen and don’t need to make tons of coffees in a row their grinders might be good. I don't have one, just considered getting one before deciding on an 1zpresso J-ultra (ultimately I decided fine
