I need help

Coffee grinders for espresso range from $100USD to $4000USD. Cheapest one's will be hand grinders and given your working on a De'Longhi Dedica EC685 -- You are in the budget range of espresso. Look into hand grinders, it'll take 30+ seconds & a bit of an arm workout but you'll get a good cup of espr

Gifted an incredible machine but can’t afford a top tier grinder to match…what’s good enough? [$250]

If you ever wanted a portable manual grinder, the 1Zpresso J ultra is better than "good enough". I use mine 3 times a day for the last year and am so impressed. I don't even use my high end electric grinder anymore. It's never a bad idea to have a manual hand grinder as backup anyway.

Manual grinder under $200

I recommend looking at 1zpresso J series. I have one of their older manual grinder (JE plus) and it has served me well. My daily brew is with the hario switch, and I think it pairs well.

Zp6 rusty bearing?

Yeah fair point! The original post with the information is here. I replaced the bearings on my J-Ultra after they started to rust. The shaft bearings are 19x10x5mm and the top bearings is 14x8x4mm. I pruchased two W61800-2RS1 SKF for the shaft and a SMR148-2RS ZEN. Both sealed, stainless steel; upra

JX-Pro handle fell off, so I upgraded it.

Perfect, I'll save this post! I have 2 1ZPresso grinders (older K Pro, newer J Ultra) and so far the handles on both are just fine. But good to know how to fix it easily if / when the time comes. One favor to ask - can you update the link to the e-clip? The one in your original post just takes you t

Very VERY new to the coffee game asking for thoughts on "setup"

I've had a 1Zpresso J for 5 years, great hand grinder. But tomorrow my Femobook A2 arrives, you might want to check it out. I got it cause it's cool and uses 1Zpresso burrs. I keep my beans in the freezer with potato chip bag clips, or if the bag should tear I use a Ziplock freezer bag. Don't waste

Can't choose a grinder! [$250]

Why? People used to say you get much better value for the money with hand grinders, but I’m not sure that’s still true… An 1Zpresso J Ultra and a DF54 will give you similar cup quality (it’s technically conical vs flat, but they’re actually closer in profile than one might think). And there is less

Review of the The Quick Mill Pop Up / 3 Kilos in

Hey, if you do exclusively milk drinks, I would not recommend this machine since the steaming is a bit annoying. I assume you're in the US? Sadly I don't know the pricing there. Do you know what you want out of the machine? Good looks, fast heat up, temp stability, ease of use, steaming power, all i
