Grinder paralysis preventing use of Robot

Manual espresso machine? Manual grinder. 1ZPresso J Ultra isn’t eye wateringly expensive, and the combination makes great espresso. At least for my tastes.

Is using a hand-grinder too tiresome?

Absolutely not unless you’re pulling multiple consecutive shots. I have a 1zpresso J-Ultra, which I understand is one of the best hand grinders. Grinding takes some elbow grease, but less than a minute. The resulting espresso with good beans and proper tamping has a thick layer of crema with no chan

small grinder?

The J-Ultra from 1zpresso is excellent for espresso and falls right in the middle of your budget. I’ve had it and used with my Robot and have been very happy with it. If you want to go electric, Option-O has their Lagom Mini 2 that’s not much bigger than a hand grinder and is powered by usb-c. I hav

Electric Coffee Grinder

By coffee machine I assume you mean you're making espresso? The Varia Vs3 is great and (relatively) affordable at $699, that said, I'm aware not everyone has the same definition of affordable nor does everyone want to invest the same $$ in coffee as I. If you're really looking for affordable and a g

Advice for straight ristretto/espresso drinker: first step into home coffee setup post-Bialetti Venus (with cheap Bosch blade grinder)? [€400]

The Rok is a cheaper manual espresso maker. A blade grinder will not give you consistent or tasty espresso. The 1zpresso J and K series ( hand grinders) can do espresso and are <150Eur.

Best manual grinder under $200 AUD?

For espresso? The 1zpresso J-Ultra. General purpose? The 1zpresso K series (if you can find it on sale).

Fear of missing out

The Opus 2 is a good grinder for espresso. It's what I use and have no complaints. And at the $200 price point it is a tremendous value. A hand grinder, like the 1zpresso j-ultra, will also serve you well. I have one but prefer the Opus 2 for a much easier workflow. Espresso has a steep learning cur

Wacaco picopresso, suggestion for best hand grinder

I have a c3esp and 1zpresso j-ultra, and I can say that the j-ultra produces noticeably smoother results. It's supposed to be one of the best espresso grinders out there, unless things changed from a few years ago. I do prefer the threaded grounds container though (and j-ultra is magnetic).

Baratza encore ESP vs kingrinder k6?[$200]

The KinGrinder K6 manual grinder is well-regarded here for its quality/output/price value ratio; typically priced in the U.S. at just under US$100. Up from there, the 1Zpresso J-Ultra really is a hand-grinding star, albeit at ~double the KinGrinder K6's price. A major difference between the two: the

Best alternative to niche zero [budget :400€]

What would be the best alternative to the Niche Zero, considering it isn’t available in my country (France)? Niche Zero is available world-wide. The only way to purchase it is direct from the manufacturer's website. They will ship to France. However, it will be above your budget. If you are willing
