Dedicated low power consumption rig for Frigate
Id still jsut recommend a n100 mini pc or similar. I bought a DXP2800 Ugreen 2-bay to dedicate to Frigate and it works great with my 10 cameras and openvino as detector.

Purchase advice
The DH is barebones NAS. No native docker (you can install it pretty easily though), limited expansion, and limited hardware. If you want a two bay I’d recommend the DXP2800. Although if you can afford it go for either of the 4800 models. The DXPs have much better hardware and will be able to handle

What gives? My NAS doesn't reach the advertised speeds of 1000 Mbps. Stuck only at 100 Mbps.
TL;DR - Every device on my LAN network can reach 1000 Mbps, except my NAS, which only reaches 100 Mbps. I've tried different cables, switches, router ports, and delved into the command line and trying to force high speeds with `ethtool`. No luck.
EDIT 2: I ended up returning my NAS due to its faul

DPX2800: Does this setup make sense?
Why install Truenas? If it's because you think everyone does it, be aware of positive bias. I believe most Ugreen users don't because they're happy with the default, but a vocal minority do. There's nothing wrong with Truenas, but there's also nothing wrong with UGOS. Both are linux, just with diffe

Need help for a setup between Synology or TryeNAS on UGreen DXP2800 for a beginner
I can’t comment on photos, but i do run Plex and I just got the UGREEN DXP2800 about a week ago and I am loving it, so far 3 streams simultaneously, 1 local, 2 remote family members and all 4K - works great still and barely has a load. Now I do direct play instead of transcoding so I can’t comment o

I feel obligated/compelled to highlight a few recent reddit posts here regarding major issues all of us are seeing with our Ugreen NAS'
It's funny you made this thread as I was about to make a post about how NFS is broken with the DXP2800. There is most definitely a problem with the current NFS implementation. Is anyone successfully using a Ugreen NAS as a NFS server with no issues?? Also, NFSv3 is the highest available NFS version

What’s the trade off?
I use my dxp2800 mainly for storage for my photography. Upload and download are pretty snappy. Their AI driven recognition tools built into the photos app makes searching for things pretty easy (very similar to Google photos people recognition, place recognition, etc) if that's what you're looking f

I'm worried to use the NVME SSD without a heatsink
Dear Community,
I recently purchased a UGREEN NASync DXP2800 and am excited so far! However, I've noticed that the NVMe SSD slots do not accommodate heatsinks. Since my NVMe SSDs are double-sided, like most modern SSDs, I'm concerned about inadequate heat dissipation on the top side.
Here's you ca

Should I get the ugreen dxp2800?
I have the dxp2800 and love it so far, no issues accessing it remotely. You can use the ugreen app to access everything! 1.) 2 seagate iron wolf pro 16tb. Came with a Newegg bundle2.) new user advice: lots of great YouTube videos. Follow the on screen prompts when you fire it up. Takes some tweaking
