Happy with my recent purchase DXP2800
After extensive research, I decided to go with the DXP2800 and set it up over the weekend. I’m happy with the overall purchase. I definitely like the UI, it was easy to create shared folders and enable NFS. I also set up Pi-hole as a Docker container. I haven’t enabled UGreenLink for now, just plann

UGREEN NASync DXP2800 BIOS Smart Fan Settings to Lower Temps
If you're running a Frigate NVR setup (or anything CPU-heavy) on the UGREEN NASync DXP2800 and noticing high temps, tweaking the BIOS fan settings can make a big difference.
In my case, I was consistently seeing mid-80s °C on the Intel N100 CPU. After adjusting the Smart Fan settings in the BIOS, m

Should I hold off on Plex server?
Yes, it's a terrible time to buy/build any computer. A year ago, N150 mini PCs were like $200. Now they cost $300+ for 8GB RAM, 256GB setups and just doesn't seem worth it. Most NAS HDDs are either sold out or super expensive--must like every other computer component nowadays... Maybe a UGREEN DXP28

Looking for a budget NAS for a small home project
UGREEN NASync DH2300 2-Bay NAS Enclosure is ~$190. UGREEN NASync DXP2800 2-Bay NAS with Intel 4-Core CPU and 8GB DDR5 Diskless ~$290. If you need Plex Transcode (require Plex Pass) then this should be a good option as its CPU is Intel N100. They are often on sales for $20 less. These have its own op

curious how DH4300 Plus vs DXP2800 feel in real use
I’ve had my DXP2800 for several months now and love it! Easy to set up, quiet and it has worked flawlessly for me so far. I was always afraid to tackle adding NAS to my system, but UGreen is definitely the way to go. Plus, the quality of the components is top notch and even the packaging and instruc

DXP2800 setting it up as a Minecraft server and some other questions
Hi! I also have the DXP2800 with a setup very similar to yours: 2 HDDs in RAID 1, running several services using Docker. Hosting a Minecraft server on this system is totally possible and very easy. I recommend using a manager like Crafty (https://gitlab.com/crafty-controller/crafty-4) or Minepanel (

NAS. Buy or build?
Just know that the mobo/CPU combo is OLD. Nothing wrong with old, but it won't have the latest tech in terms of jellyfin encoding. It will have slower ports like USB 2.0 and slower sata and maybe not even NVME. It will also pull down MUCH more power than a newer device. You can get a N100/N150 mini
