Not medical advice: Trioral. $40 on amazon for 100 unflavored pouches that make a liter of solution each. Very economical and it's a balanced oral rehydration solution formula for good absorption and being easier on the stomach (more similar to pedialyte, normalyte etc. in composition.)

The sugar is in it because it’s needed to help the hydration process, it’s not just included arbitrarily. Electrolytes that don't have citric acid or vitamin c
