I need a wireless WiFi extender

I’d definitely go with a mesh wifi router system. You can add and remove nodes as needed to get the coverage you need and it keeps the same network ssid. General wifi “extenders” arent great and they create a new network ssid you have to connect to. I have the TP Link Deco x20 units and like them.

Is upgrading modem from Wi-Fi 5 to Wi-Fi 6 Worth It for Better Range?

Kung mahalaga sayo ang bandwidth at speed, go for tri-band mesh kasi sabi mo thru wireless mo sya ipag connect, go for Deco BE85 or similar. If hindi naman heavy yung usage, you can go with dual band, go for Deco X20 or similar. Check mo na lang specs nila kung ano sa tingin mo ang swak sa requireme

WiFi for Detached Garage

A decent mesh with strategically placed access points will probably work just fine here. I like the TP-link Deco X20 if I’m building a non-unifi system.

HomeKit Secure Video wired doorbell

Unfortunately it’s router-specific. My family has a Deco X20 router mesh system that includes a Camera Privacy option which can be customized to only allow LAN networking and block all WAN/Internet connections, which is perfect since HomeKit requires at least LAN connections and uses the Home Hub ha

If hindi mo masolve, 470mbps is already extremely good for wifi. Kadalasan nagiging OC lang tayo kapag hindi na

The Remote Play App is not a 1:1 test for PS Portal

I didn’t actually buy anything new as I have spare Deco X20, which I just added as a dedicated AP to my unifi network. Unifi unfortunately has some ver weird issues with devices demanding these kind of constant streams. It’s documented but they not gonna do anything about it. So I just hooked up my

Grandpa Needs New Network

Option 1: 1x TP-Link Deco BE63 (currently $170, or $270 for a 2-pack just in case) located centrally on the 1st floor may be all you need. It is one of the most powerful WiFi APs you can buy that has more than two LAN ports (for wired Ethernet devices). If it turns out you need more signal outside,

[Help] Giving up on eero/Deco/Nighthawk – What Mesh actually works with Ebox Fiber + Nokia ONT?

Many mesh systems allow for a wired connection between APs, improving performance a lot. I run a Deco X20 setup in my century home with a wired connection and I get 500+ Mbps pretty much anywhere that isn’t a deadzone due to old construction (thick walls mostly)
