I also have a Deco X20 and found this thread looking for an answer to my performance issues. My main deco flashes red for 30 seconds multiple times a day, there is nothing that should be causing interference and it is random. Further, when on WiFi in a pretty small 1200 sqft apartment with 3 decos,

Try TP-Link Deco X20–although there are probably better ones. Just get something that is suitable for you. Not all routers are the same. And not all of them have the same range.

Mine loses internet connection if I click on “internet settings” within the app. And yes it’s up to date. Only way to get the internet back is to unplug the Ethernet cord from the WAN and plug it back in. That fixes it. Also does this if any changes to DNS is made. Deco X20 v4.6 here.

Update - The Engineer staff came at my place, apparently they gave me a false confirmation of the bridge work being completed. I use to use deco x20 mesh. I found this all the time in the app. Refresh the app and oh they are all back on again. I waved goodbye to them in the end. Crikey though, how big is your property needing 5?
