Here is what I would do if starting from scratch: WiFi 7 mesh with 10 GB backhaul https://www.tp-link.com/us/deco-mesh-wifi/product-family/deco-be95/v1%20(3-pack)/ Supports hundreds of devices, whole-house WiFi, with a few 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports in the rooms with the access points, to hardwire TVs an

BE85’s / 95’s are on sale in the US and I am having such a hard time deciding…
I replaced my three XE75s with three BE95s a year ago. For six or seven months the 95s were extremely stable, but something started happening in September and I’ve had stability and speed problems since. A month ago I received an apology out of the blue from ATT that said a software update had cause

Decos causing phones and other devices to drop in and out of wifi very often.
I have and do have the same issue.. i have tried so many different configurations and nothing works. I have the BE95, the wifi 7. It will work well for a time and then i notice the stutter in my devices. Or if you have a temperamental vpn it drops. I now have the mesh network and another network on

Best WiFI7 access point -- don't need router function
Depending on your needs, the price might be the sticking point. One thing I am looking for is a quad band AP with dual 6Ghz bands available, but outside of desktop units I don't see much available right now. In any case, I think this is all bit much for what anyone here is asking for. A desktop unit

BE85 lost internet connection. Possible yellow light?
You're welcome and was an idea. My BE95's and BE85's the same TP-Link did some updates that partially fix the DNS issue, but only partially. No updates in 11 months for the BE95 which behave entirely like your BE85. Since TP-Link obviously isn't fixing these and other critical issues, dumped mine an

Mesh system upgrade suggestions
I vote for Option 1 - “Keep what I have”. For 500mbps internet service, WiFi 6 is sufficient. Unless you have a TON of WiFi 7 devices, there’s no real reason to upgrade.. and even if you do have many WiFi 7 devices, the ASUS XT12 is very nice and still has life left. That’s a premium WiFi 6 mesh sys

Deco BE95 firmware update when!
Actually it could be the switch. Neither of my BE85 or BE95 work when there's a switch between satellite and main Deco. Confirmed at our call center; some of the Asus and all our Cisco routers have the same problem so it's not a TP-Link only issue. None like having a switch in the middle with Ethern

Most powerful router?
I would suggest decoupling the router you're going to buy and getting multiple access points, like the omada EAP773 and a switch for it, none of the consumer routers have what it takes to support VPN at 1gbps that requires AES-INI support and a 3ghz processor, even if they have the potential archite
