~950sqft house (6300sqft property) - tired of Eero 6e Pro's and need guidance on how to move to a better system.

I'm sure someone here will give you a much more detailed answer, but you should easily be able to cover a house that small with a single router. My older Synology RT2600ac covered my entire two story 2600sq. ft. house plus my yard with no problem. Your garage may be far enough away that a wired AP c

Your own equipment for FTTH?

I have 2x Synology RT2600Ac (wired back haul) Will eventually switch to unifi but for the time being the Synology routers seem to do the job well.

Recommendation for Router and AP setup

I’m using a Synology rt6600ax with 3 mr2200ac and 1 rt2600ac (discontinued) mesh points. We have an old house with plaster walls and WiFi was a nightmare - this setup solved our problems. The rt2600ac and 2 mr220ac are setup with wired backhaul to the main Synology 6600ax router, with one mr2200 run

Synology RT2600

Only you know if you "need" Wi-Fi 6, if so the non-6 Synology would be a poor option. In theory 6 coverage will be better than 5 but if you have 5 only devices (as some cameras are) then an extender might be a better option. OTOH the Synology has features that the Spectrum router does not provide. K

New-ish to Synology... bought a new house and need better exterior WiFi coverage...

Yes. You can. I have been using RT2600ac for 5 years now and it is still the main internet device for the house. I use ASUS AX6600 & TP Link Deco X90 in the house too. These services give a full coverage in the house and out of the garden.

How often does the your IP Address change with Quantum Fiber?

[Update] I've had the Quantum Fiber for 5 days now. My IP address has been stable, and the upload and download speeds are great! I'm using my router (older Synology RT2600ac) because I use the built-in VPN capabilities, and it gave equal speed and signal coverage with to the single WiFi POD that the

Getting frustrated with Synology Mesh system, what to upgrade to?

I also have mesh with 1 rt6600ax with 1 rt2600ac along with few other brands like AirPort Express, cheap extender, asus rt-66r(extender) and few switches. Honestly, synology is about the best consumer router out there. I have used asus, netgear and tp-link non-mesh before, synology is not the best f

UDR7 Upload speed slooooow test results on 1GB fiber up & down

Sorry to necro your (seemingly resolved) thread, but I was considering buying the UDR7. I have an ASUS router and, though it shows better latency in fast.com and speedtest.net tests than my old router (Synology RT2600AC), the Cloudflare test shows large run-to-run variance and even massive outliers

Upgrading our internet to 2.5gb and need some recommendations as to what to buy.

I'm really happy with the power and flexibility of my Synology RT2600ac router and MR2200ac mesh routers.
