RT2600ac

I have 2x Synology RT2600Ac (wired back haul) Will eventually switch to unifi but for the time being the Synology routers seem to do the job well.

I’m using a Synology rt6600ax with 3 mr2200ac and 1 rt2600ac (discontinued) mesh points. We have an old house with plaster walls and WiFi was a nightmare - this setup solved our problems. The rt2600ac and 2 mr220ac are setup with wired backhaul to the main Synology 6600ax router, with one mr2200 run

It’s not state of the art anymore but this is what I have. My router is a Synology RT2600ac and I have it meshed you can do (wired or wireless back haul) with Synology MR2200ac. The MR2200ac has a Ethernet port you could plug your work pc into. The newer equivalent of my setup is the Synology RT6600

Simple asgetting as many of the Synology WRX560 mesh/access points as you want. I have this (well an earlier version, the RT2600ac) and it’s easy, bullet proof. If you want more processing power have the RT6600ax as your main router that connects to the external WAN

I have 2x Synology RT6600ax, 1x RT2600ac, and 1x MR2200 in my network with my Firewalla gold working as the router. One of the RT6600ax is the primary AP, and with that I have meshed the other RT6600ax and RT2600ac with wired backhaul and smart connect. The MR2200 is set up as a separate IOT 2.4 GHz

I also have mesh with 1 rt6600ax with 1 rt2600ac along with few other brands like AirPort Express, cheap extender, asus rt-66r(extender) and few switches. Honestly, synology is about the best consumer router out there. I have used asus, netgear and tp-link non-mesh before, synology is not the best f

I'm really happy with the power and flexibility of my Synology RT2600ac router and MR2200ac mesh routers.
