Regular consumer NAS models no longer have the drive restrictions. I assume you're not looking to get an enterprise NAS so you should be fine getting a consumer model like a DS series. Google Drive sync status icons disappeared from Windows Explorer
Same issue for me... I have a DS423+, since I've updated the DSM, my disks don't go to sleep at all. After the update I needed to refresh the Synology Drive Client too, and am facing the same issue as you. Well done, Synology! 🙄 Have you found a solution?
