Synology NAS harddrive question
Regular consumer NAS models no longer have the drive restrictions. I assume you're not looking to get an enterprise NAS so you should be fine getting a consumer model like a DS series. Meet the X15: the first server purpose-built for Unraid
Yes, it’s all obsolete. Google me this: “Synology ds423 plus with four disks wattage”. 8 watts idle, 28 watts fully going. That’s what Google tells me. You? Google Drive sync status icons disappeared from Windows Explorer

First NAS + Local AI Setup — Synology vs UGREEN vs Others?
Yeah, it feels like Synology has taking a step back from wanting to be the best nas manufacturer for consumers. Their focus definitely seems to be on software only. Most of their models are quite dated, but with that said, they seem to run a long time. Their naming nomenclature ends with the year th

Trying to decide on getting a Mini PC or NAS
i'm looking to get into hosting my own plex server locally. Currently utilizing a seedbox. Is there any specific NAS to pair with a Beelink S12 that makes the most sense? I was initially going to go with a synology DS423+ but due to 45-50mbps Upload speed i'd have to restrict everyone outside my hom
